For over 40 years, King County has produced biosolids—a natural, renewable soil amendment. The county asked us to create a platform to help diversify its customer base by building customer awareness of biosolids and their benefits. Our opening questions set Kite apart and kicked off a seminal conversation about the county's business goals and strategic possibilities. Our recommendation: Build an ingredient brand that will be easily identified, understood, and valued by its diverse target audiences. We created the name—Loop—and the tagline together with a robust Message Platform. From the logo to website, packaging and delivery trucks, the county's new biosolids brand makes it easy for a broader market to see the beauty in Loop.
