The National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP)
NAEP provides unbiased environmental practices information and supports the advancement of environmental professions. The Association had its strategic plan in place including a pillar to strengthen and raise awareness of the brand. A conundrum to be solved in the project was how the NAEP brand and its affiliated chapter brands should play together, or separately, as each chapter presented itself differently. To this end we conducted an in-depth research audit with leaders and members of the 14 state, multi-state, and regional chapters and leveraged our inclusive and consensus building process to address the large number of NAEP decision-makers. Our process ensured leadership and the Board of Directors got on the same page as we went through defining the brand resulting in delivering the brand tools needed for consistent and clear communications to increase membership and grow the organization.
